Rental Assistance Portal

The Rental Assistance Portal is still accepting applications for the Emergency Solutions Grant CARES Act (ESG-CV) rental assistance program. However, applications submitted on or after November 23, 2020 will be put on a wait list. If it is determined additional funding and capacity is available, applications on the wait list will be reviewed in the order they were received. Applications submitted on or before November 22, 2020 will continue to be reviewed and processed in accordance to the program policies and procedures.

Step 1: Is an IHCDA homebuyer program right for me?

You may be eligible for an IHCDA homebuyer program if:
  • You are purchasing a home in Indiana.
  • The home will be used as your primary residence within 60 days of closing.
  • Maximum household income requirements vary by family size and home location.
  • You have a credit score of 640 or greater.
  • You are a legal resident of the United States.

Step 2: Contact a Lender

Get qualified by contacting an IHCDA participating lender today.

Step 3: Find a Realtor

Choose your own realtor or contact one by visiting the Indiana Association of Realtor's website.
